Adventure awaits! Welcome to Easter Holiday Shred Squad. WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? These sessions are suitable for young shredders (aged 5+) who are Beginner riders or are still building confidence on Green-rated (beginner) trails. This is not a 'learn-to-ride' program so kids will already be able to ride a pedal bike and ride simple Green Beginner trails - like Hot Wheels, Wombats & Sugarglider at Mystic (or similar). Indicative age range is 5-8 years, however, riding experience is more important than age. If you are unsure of your child's suitability for this group, please contact us to discuss. WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM ABOUT? Easter Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration with like-minded kids. Led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, our program focuses on building a solid foundation of biking skills. Sessions will include a combination of games, skills, and guided riding on dirt paths, grass, and Beginner MTB trails. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum wheel size: 16-inches - Bike must be suitable for offroad riding, with gears - Minimum age: 5 SESSION DETAILS - Sessions run for 1.5 hours each - Each session is $45. - Riders are welcome to attend one or all sessions. - Meeting location: Mystic Park Trailhead, Coronation Ave, Bright DATES/TIMES 11.30am-1pm Tues, April 7 Thurs, Apr 9 Mon, Apr 13 Wed, Apr 15 WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding, with gears (min. 16-in wheel size) - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) & snacks - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves MYSTIC PARK ENTRY FEE All riders require a Mystic Park Mountain Pass (park entry).
