Holiday Shred Squad: July (ages 7-11*)

Adventure awaits! Welcome to School Holiday Shred Squad. WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? These sessions are suitable for junior shredders, aged 7-11 years old (*approx), who would be considered a Pre-Intermediate or Intermediate rider for their age. Kids will already be riding easy Blue intermediate trails (such as Shred Kelly, Jayne's Link, Rollercoaster at Mystic Park, Bright) and and riding a bike with a minimum wheel size of 24-inches. Please note, this session does not use shuttles and kids must be willing and capable of climbing uphill for 10-15mins at a time. WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT: Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration. Led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, our program focuses on building a solid foundation of biking skills tailored to each child's age and ability to help them unlock their potential. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum wheel size: 24-inches - Minimum age: 7 - Already riding simple blue trails - Willing/able to climb uphill for 10-15+ minutes Sessions run for 2 hours on the below dates. Each session is $50. Riders are welcome to attend one or all sessions. DATE/TIME 9am-11am Friday, July 11 Fri, July 18 WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding (min. 24-in wheel size) - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) & snacks - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves If you have any questions about the suitability of your child's bike, please get in touch via email: bike@ridecraftmtb.com.au (If your child falls outside the specified age category but you believe the program is suitable for them, please get in touch with us via email or phone to discuss).
