Adventure awaits! Welcome to Holiday Shred Squad. WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT: Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration. Led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, our program is a mix of skills instructions, games, challenges, and guided riding to ensure kids have a great time on their bikes - and unlock some new skills and confidence along the way! WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? These sessions are suitable for junior rider who would be considered at least a Pre-Intermediate rider who is already riding easy Blue intermediate trails (such as Shred Kelly, Jayne's Link, Tombstone at Mystic Park, Bright). Riders must be riding a geared mountain bike with a minimum wheel size of 24-inches (no BMX or single-speed bikes). Indicative age range of 7-11* years. Riders must be willing and capable of continuous uphill climbing for 10-15mins at a time. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum wheel size: 24-inches - Minimum age: 8* - Already riding easy blue trails - Willing/able to climb uphill for 10-15+ minutes - Geared mountain bike (no BMX/single-speed) Sessions run for 2 hours on the below dates. Each session is $60. Riders are welcome to attend one or all sessions. DATE/TIME 9am-11am Wed, Sept 24 Fri, Sept 26 Wed, Oct 1 Thurs, Oct 2 WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding (min. 24-in wheel size) - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) & snacks - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves If you have any questions about the suitability of your child's bike, please get in touch via email: bike@ridecraftmtb.com.au (*If your child falls outside the specified age category but you believe the program is suitable for them, please get in touch with us via email or phone to discuss).
