Adventure awaits! Welcome to July Holiday Shred Squad. WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? • Very Young or Beginner riders aged 5+ • Riders still building confidence on Green beginner trails and easy Blue intermediate trails • Approx. 5-8 years • Riding ability is more important than age • Riders who can already ride a pedal bike Please note, this is not a learn-to-ride program If you’re unsure whether this group is suitable for your child, please contact us before booking WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM ABOUT? Holiday Shred Squad will encourage kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, conquer obstacles, and discover the joy of outdoor exploration with like-minded kids. Led by qualified and experienced mountain bike instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, our program focuses on building a solid foundation of biking skills. Sessions will include a combination of games, skills, and guided riding on dirt paths, grass, and Beginner MTB trails. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum bike wheel size: 16-inches - Bike must be suitable for offroad riding, with gears - Minimum age: 5 SESSION DETAILS - Sessions run for 1.5 hours each - Each session is $50 - Riders are welcome to attend one or all sessions - Meeting location: Mystic Park Trailhead, Coronation Ave, Bright DATES/TIMES 2pm-3.30pm Wed, July 1 Fri, July 3 Wed, July 8 Fri, July 10 WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding, with gears (min. 16-in wheel size) - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) & snacks - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves MYSTIC PARK ENTRY FEE All riders require a Mystic Park Mountain Pass (park entry). We are a small and dynamic family-run business, so we understand that, sometimes, things change! If you need to cancel or reschedule your sessions or course, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations: up to 7 days in advance Reschedule: up to 48 hours in advance
