Adventure awaits! Welcome to Term 1 After-School Shred Squad MINI WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? This is a group for pre-school-age or Very-New mountain bikers, who can already ride a pedal bike, aged approx. 4-5 years. It is suitable for young riders just beginning their offroad journeys and getting comfortable riding on grass, dirt or just beginning to ride very simple 'green-rated' Beginner trails. Indicative trails: Pump Track, Hot Wheels MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Minimum age of 4 - Minimum wheel size: 14-inches - Must already be able to ride a pedal bike (this is not a 'learn to ride' program) WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT: This 8-week program encourages kids to learn and develop their mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, and to conquer obstacles. Led by qualified MTB instructors with first-aid certificates and Working with Children Checks, we focus on building a solid foundation of skills tailored to each child's age and ability to help them progress. But Shred Squad is not just about mountain biking - it's about building connections and creating a sense of camaraderie among the kids through teamwork, encouragement, and shared experiences. Max. group size: 6 TERM 1 DETAILS * 8-week program with 2-week midterm break * Starts Week 1 of term * Weekly on Thursdays from Jan 27, ends April 2 * Mid-term break: Feb 26 & March 5 * 3pm-4pm * Starts & ends at the Mystic Trailhead, Coronation Ave, Bright * $220 per child WHAT TO BRING: * Bike suitable for offroad riding * AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) * Water (bottle or backpack) * Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) * Optional but encouraged: gloves, knee pads, elbow pads, long sleeves MYSTIC MEMBERSHIPS All riders require a current Mystic Park membership (Mountain Pass) to participate These are, unfortunately, no longer free for kids. If your child is an Alpine Cycling Club member, they are eligible for a free membership by emailing mtb@alpinecyclingclub.com.au Mountain Passes can be purchased here: https://www.elevationmystic.com/pass-options/mountain-pass/ If you have any questions about the suitability of your child for this program, please get in touch via email or phone: bike@ridecraftmtb.com.au * This group is subject to minimum numbers in order to run. If minimum numbers are not met, the group may be cancelled prior to the commencement of term.

We are a small and dynamic family-run business, so we understand that, sometimes, things change! If you need to cancel or reschedule your sessions or course, please give us as much notice as possible. Cancellations: up to 7 days in advance Reschedule: up to 48 hours in advance
