** THIS PROGRAM IS NOW FULLY BOOKED ** ** Bookings will open in September for Term 4.** Adventure awaits! Welcome to Term 3 After-School Shred Squad PRO WHO IS THIS PROGRAM FOR? Advanced Intermediate-Advanced (for age) MTB riders, aged 11+. Suitable for riders very comfortable riding all 'blue' Intermediate trails and/or easier 'black' Advanced trails. INDICATIVE TRAILS Down DJ, Wiggle, Old English, Hokey Pokey, Curtain, Corkscrew, Hero MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Minimum age: 11 - Minimum wheel size: 26-in - Willing and capable of moderate uphill climbs (ie, Up & At Em or Up DJ) WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS ABOUT: This 6-week after-school program encourages kids to continue developing advanced mountain bike skills, to push their boundaries, and to conquer advanced technical obstacles. Led by our Level 3 MTB instructor, Ash Gray, Shred Squad PRO program focuses on developing and progressing skills tailored to each child's ability. WHAT TO EXPECT Shred Squad isn’t just about going for a ride - each session is designed by to build real, lasting skills and confidence on the bike (and to have a lot of fun!). Riders will take part in a mix of skills, drills, games, challenges, trail riding - and climbing. A positive attitude and a willingness to get involved in all parts of the session help riders get the most from their time with us. THINGS TO NOTE - There will be one, mixed-age PRO Squad in Term 3. - In the final week of the program, we will utilise a gravity uplift shuttle to the top of Hero. The cost is $25 per child, and this is included at cost price in your program fee. DETAILS Weekly on Fridays from July 25-Sep 5 (no session Aug 15) 6-week program 4pm-5pm Starts & ends at the Bright Pump Track $175 per child (includes 1 x single uplift shuttle in the last week) WHAT TO BRING: - Mountain Bike suitable for offroad riding - AS-approved helmet (no skateboard/equestrian helmets, or similar) - Water (bottle or backpack) - Clothing that offers some protection (ie, no singlet tops) - Optional but encouraged: full-face helmet, gloves, knee/elbow pads, long sleeves MYSTIC MEMBERSHIPS All riders require a current Mystic Park membership to participate These are currently free for kids under 15 years and can be purchased here: https://www.elevationmystic.com/pass-options/mountain-pass/ If you have any questions about the suitability of your child for this program, please get in touch via email or phone: bike@ridecraftmtb.com.au
